The series consists of records of the Atlanta Urban League Housing Department from 1942-1983. The records include correspondence (1942-1965) and administrative files (1945-1965) of Atlanta Urban League Housing Secretary, Robert A. Thompson; maps and design plans relating to housing developments in Atlanta, Georgia (1947-1964); reports (1947-1964) and housing statistics (1950-1963) generated by the League; organizations files (1947-1954); and speeches (1944-1962). The files also include materials relating to Project ENABLE, including bulletins, minutes, reports, and correspondence (1966-1967) and records of the Comprehensive Counseling Program (1974-1983) including administrative files and case files.
